研究室の丹羽くんが,以下の研究を日本流体力学会 年会2021で発表しました.

  • 和文タイトル:高振動ストロークにおける振動格子乱流の二次流れ抑制の検討
  • 英文タイトル:Study on secondary flow suppression in oscillating grid turbulence with large oscillation stroke
  • Abstract : In this study, we attempted to identify the cause of secondary flow in oscillating grid turbulence and to reduce it. First, we demonstrated the effect of installing the inner box and concluded that the effect was not enough under the condition with large oscillation stroke. Second, we used PIV measurements to investigate the cause of secondary flow that occurs under the condition with large oscillation stroke. From the results, we found that the cause was the flow that penetrated from the gap between the inner box and the outer wall and the circulation that occurred in the inner box due to the penetrated flow. Finally, we installed the honeycomb core, the angle lumber, and the skirt structure aimed for suppressing the cause of secondary flow, and revealed that the installation of the skirt structure was particularly effective.
